Who Gets To Play
The Cousin's Subs Lakefront Bowl has three potential selection scenarios depending on NCAA Division III automatic qualifiers and at-large bids:
SCENARIO #1 - 2ND PLACE (MWC) VS. 2ND PLACE (NACC)
SCENARIO #2 - 3RD PLACE (MWC) VS. 3RD PLACE (NACC)
SCENARIO #3 - 2ND PLACE (MWC) VS. 3RD PLACE (NACC) OR 3RD PLACE (MWC) VS. 2ND PLACE (NACC)
Leadership
Founder and Bowl Game Director, Mike Shaw developed the Lakefront Bowl out of a passion for Division III athletics. As a college athlete, Shaw (a University of Wisconsin-Platteville alum) experienced an NCAA Division III basketball tournament berth himself — he knew the value of granting similar opportunities to deserving athletes.
